As Spoke to a Bloke is our nominated charity for 2025/2026, we are organizing an event that will be a ride along in the same manner as the Ronald McDonald and Bear Cottage trips were. Camp will be at Paul Thomason's property just outside Turon NP. If wet there is a large shed full of toys to admire. Other than a BBQ on Saturday night, food and drinks will be BYO. Camping equipment will be BYO AWDC wise it is just a normal club trip but with a passenger. Next to camp is the Turon River, Rydal, Baal Bone and Mt Airlie diamond mine. Spoke to a Bloke attendees with their own 4WD vehicles will not be able to drive on the event as they have not gone through driver induction after joining the club. Generally Spoke to a Bloke attendees will be asked to make their own way to Capertee.

This is a Mystery Leader trip. In an effort to get more trips on the calendar, we will suggest a location and date. Willing participants can register a couple of months out, in the hope that someone will put their hand up to lead or co-lead the group. This is a perfect opportunity if you've been pondering becoming a trip leader, as previous leaders can help you out with track suggestions and camping locations.
Please get in touch and let me know ASAP if you would like to lead.
A GPX file can be provided if you would like to follow a previous club trip route.
